The Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association (ADBA) has been established to represent all businesses involved in the anaerobic digestion and biogas industries, to help remove the barriers they face and to support its members to grow their businesses. Its principal aim is to enable and facilitate the development of a mature anaerobic digestion industry in the UK within 10 years.
The ADBA third annual trade show and conference, UK AD & Biogas 2012 will focus specifically on demonstrating where anaerobic digestion can offer the best benefits to local authorities, and the food and farming industries.
Showcasing why AD is the missing link to achieving maximum waste and resource management, climate-smart farming and sustainable food production, this event will not only show how beneficial the integration of AD can be but how it can be most successfully achieved.
The city of Birmingham will be hosting the 2 Day Conference on July 4-5 and will have 22 free seminars, professional AD clinics (legal, finance, farming), 200 Exhibitors and an expected 3000 visitors.
Octaform is a member of the ADBA and will be one of the exhibitors at the conference. Come visit us at Booth C31!

Octaform Systems is a proud partner of Saudi Arabia's National Prawn Company (NPC). Known as one of the largest, fully integrated aquaculture prawn farms in the world, the NPC produces shrimp to a variety of sizes for countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Japan, Korea, USA, China and Australia.

Last Friday, the Octaform team joined the staff at Coast Mental Health's Resource Centre by serving over 200 people for their annual Winter Brunch. The menu consisted of roasted turkey with mashed potatoes and harvest vegetables followed by warm apple pie and vanilla ice cream. The event kept the team quite busy with duties ranging from meal preparation, serving food and drinks and cleaning tables. The team had such a great time participating, we plan on teaming up again next year!

Coast Mental Health provides housing to nearly 800 people, help hundreds find paid work and volunteer activities each year, and offer community services for people with a mental illness. The Coast Mental Health Resource Centre assists consumers in meeting their basic needs by providing nutritious meals, free laundry and shower facilities. Regular members can make and meet friends, join in social and recreational activities, explore their interests in a variety of psychosocial programs and gain new skills through volunteering.
